My Story...

I was drawn to mindfulness at a time when I felt stressed and completely burned out. It became clear that something needed to change - I had to find a way forward that didn’t leave me feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope with life.

I haven’t always felt as calm and content as I do today. Life has brought many challenges - losing my father as a teenager, struggling with depression, living with chronic illness, and divorcing after 30 years of marriage. Experiences like these leave a lasting footprint, shaping how we react and move forward.

Mindfulness helped me accept my past and let go of sadness and anger. I know myself better now, and I’m grateful for the life I have and what I’m still able to do.

Mindfulness changed my life, it can change yours!

I never intended to teach mindfulness, but its impact on my life was so profound that I felt compelled to share it. After more than 25 years as a teacher and academic, helping others learn and grow has always been my passion.

By combining that experience with mindfulness, I now help people move beyond stress, worry, and overthinking towards a calmer, more balanced life.

Yes, we will practise a number of techniques to help you with this.

What can I expect during and after the session?

We will practice some strategies and exercises to reduce your stress. After the session you will receive an email with the strategies for you to practice.

Will one session make a difference?

Yes,, you will leave the session feeling much calmer.

Do I need to have experienced Mindfulness before?

No, I shall give you a brief introduction to Mindfulness as part of the session

How will I feel after the session?

You will feel calmer and you will have some techniques to help with managing your specific issues.

How is the session delivered?

Is this a religious or spiritual session?

No, I teach secular Mindfulness and this session is very much based on my experience as an NLP coach

Is this confidential?

Absolutely.
